This vintage ad was restored sometime in the 1970s apparently... it's at the end of Jewbury on Lord Mayors Walk (which is the name of the road beyond the traffic lights).

These city walls go all round the old part of town and date from AD71 - though hardly any of the stonework is original and has been built on and modified many times since then. Most of what exists dates from the 12th to 14th century. Monk Bar is 14th century.

Built between 1525 and 1536 - this is a smaller church to the side of the Minster. It's main claim to fame is it's where Guy Fawkes was baptised. He was actually born in a house to the right of this picture.
